
After graduating from Law school Mr. Underwood served as law clerk to the Honorable E. Benn Micheletti in the Law Division of the Superior Court of New Jersey in Monmouth County. In 1999, he joined the Law Offices of Robert A. Stutman, P.C. and worked extensively on property subrogation cases. He left the firm in 2000 to practice civil and commercial litigation. Mr. Underwood rejoined the firm in May 2005 and handles property subrogation cases out of the firm's Berlin, New Jersey office.
Mr. Underwood graduated Cum Laude from the University of Delaware in 1994 with a B.S. in Economics. He earned a Juris Doctor with honors at Rutgers University School of Law in 1997, where he was a Dean's Scholar and the recipient of the Corpus Juris Secundum award in Criminal Law.
Mr. Underwood is admitted to practice law in the New Jersey and Pennsylvania state courts, as well as the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, the District of New Jersey, and the Third Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Underwood is a member of the Defense Research Institute.
Mr. Underwood is married with three children.
