Since joining Stutman Law in 2002, Daniel Hogan has successfully litigated many six and seven figure property subrogation cases at both the trial and appellate levels.  He has extensive experience investigating and litigating claims involving building fires, collapses, construction defects, product defects and catastrophic flooding events.  Mr. Hogan has also successfully litigated numerous mass tort actions, including mass torts associated with California’s 2007 wildfires and the 2010 San Bruno pipeline explosion.  Mr. Hogan handles many of the firm’s appellate issues and has argued before the appellate courts in both Pennsylvania and Virginia.
In addition to his litigation experience, Mr. Hogan regularly presents seminars for industry groups such as The National Association of Subrogation Professionals (NASP), the Property Loss Research Bureau (PLRB) and the National Property Subrogation ExecuSummit.  He has presented on a wide range of topics including spontaneous combustion fires, loss control, defect trends, sprinkler system failures and commercial kitchen fires.
Prior to joining Stutman Law, Mr. Hogan spent several years as a prosecutor for the Philadelphia District Attorney’s office.  In that role, Mr. Hogan obtained extensive trial and appellate experience, successfully litigating thousands of felony criminal cases ranging from attempted murder to racketeering.
Mr. Hogan graduated with honors in 1996 from Philadelphia University, formerly Philadelphia College of Textiles and Science. In 1999, he graduated cum laude from Temple University’s Beasley School of Law.
Mr. Hogan is admitted to practice law in both the state and federal courts of Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
